Addition Facts Bingo, Plus 1
My students have always enjoyed playing Bingo in the classroom. Whether it is during a holiday party or as a review of basic skills, my students enjoyed playing this game more than other classroom games. I wanted to find a way to use Bingo to help my students practice their math facts and to assess their progress. The Chalkspot Counting On: Plus 1, Addition Facts Bingo is that resource. Now your students can practice counting on by 1, turn-around facts, and solving addition equations for the unknown number.
This package includes:
- Power Point Show file (97/2004 and 2010);
- PDF version of the game;
- Companion booklet.
This booklet includes five bingo cards, two blank bingo boards, and a call sheet. The blank bingo boards—one with equation lines for students to write facts and the other without equation lines—can be used for having your students write in plus one addition facts randomly. The call sheet includes each problem in the power point with the corresponding bingo board number.
This game can be used as a whole class review game or learning center game on your interactive white board or desktop computer. The bingo boards can be used as a quick assessment of your students skills.
Each game file has a bingo board numbered from 1 to 24 (Free Space in the middle). Press the numbers to go the problems. Follow the prompts for Answer (show answer) and Bingo Board (return to bingo board) on the slides. Your students will enjoy this fun math review!
