I wanted to do something different this year for my Basic Skills students. At the end of the year, we give the students a report card and the phrase, “Have a great summer!” This will be the first year that I am giving my students End of the Year awards.
I started looking for awards that I could edit. However, I did not find any that appealed to my tastes or to my particular classroom. So, I decided to design my own editable end of the school year awards.
I was very surprised about how easy the process was, and I am very pleased with the results. I made my End of the Year awards using Power Point. They are now available at my store on Teachers Pay Teachers and Teachers Notebook.
You can edit these End of the Year awards to suit your classroom needs and personality. Each file contains a sample award and extra slides, a total of 6 slides. You can edit the name of your award, your students’ names, and the reason for the award. You can also add clip art and text boxes for the date and signature.
I have also made awards in Black and White. You can download the file on my Free Teacher Materials page by clicking the image below.
